GUTTER CLEARING & CLEANING

Gutters should be inspected and cleared annually as part of routine maintenance

Over the course of the year, moss, dirt, leaves, plants and other debris builds up in the gutters, blocking the water flow and preventing proper drainage via the downpipes.

When water overflows from the gutter and runs down the side of your property it can lead to exterior and interior damage to your property through a build-up of mould and damp which will penetrate through the wall and damage interior walls and furnishings. You’ll often see tell-tale signs of this with black or yellow mould showing, particularly above skirting boards.

Water can also overflow on the inside of the gutter into the eaves causing what can be serious internal damp problems.

We use a high-powered gutter vacuum to clear all blockages and remove debris from the gutters. We also check all the downpipes and clear any blockages.

Our specialised, long-reach equipment means we can work safely from the ground to clear gutters up to a height of 40 feet.

For gutters at higher level or in hard to access areas, we can carry out the same gutter clearing and cleaning service from a mobile access platform.

As an additional service, we can also use our reach and wash system to carry out external gutter cleaning along with cladding, soffit and fascia cleaning.
